Hi and welcome to my first journal entry. This marks the launch of my own personal web site. I had a home page when I was younger which fell out of date and I lost interest. I have decided that it was time to re-establish one so that I could include photos, this journal and other things I'm into so you can all keep up with what I'm doing. This way you don't have to go through mum or dad to find out what I'm doing, you can hear it from me on here directly.
This week has been an interesting week for me on the computer and video side of things. With Jason's assistance I have been able to get my computer upgraded. I have finally been able to capture video from the video camera to the computer without the PC crashing all the time and have bought some professional video editing software which makes it a lot easier to do the editing as well. I will be making some videos of the family events I have taken the camera to and am now able to put them on DVD/CD. The Smith Family Gathering 2003 video is finished and ready, so if anybody (family that is) wants a copy on DVD/CD you can let us know.
December is just around the corner. As you know that is the month which hosts my birthday and ends with Christmas. I have not made my 2003 wish list yet. I think I'm getting too old for that kind of stuff. A card and a phone call usually enough to keep me happy these days.
I'm off to listen to some music. I have been send some great CD's this year which I have reviewed at www.AustralianMusic.info and have one I want to wrote about this weekend.
I hope this site will be of use to the entire family on both sides and all my cousins, friends and e-pals. I think this is the best way for me to communicate with everybody at once where you can come in and read it in your own time.
